Services for Teens
Appalachin Mountain Teen Project
85 Bay Street
Wolfeboro, NH 03894
P:(603)569-5510
Services Provided:
AMTP offers long-term support to youth as they face critical life and developmental transitions such as: divorce, custody issues, economic difficulty, separation from a primary caregiver, and transition into middle school, high school, and adulthood. Teens and their families make a minimum one-year commitment to the program, with many teens choosing to stay involved for multiple years. In their firstyear, teens engage in weekly one-to-one mentoring with a AMTP professional staff mentor and they join their peers for outdoor activities and service learning.
Mentors are in monthly contact with participants' parents, attend school meetings on behalf of our participants when requested, organize family meetings, and help to break down barriers of communication between home and school.
