Children, ages birth to 3, who are exhibiting global delays in the areas of fine and gross motor, communication and language, behavior and coping skills may need the support of a licensed early childhood and/or special educator. These professionals provide services that help families with the design of learning enviroments and activities that will promote a child's acquisition of skills as well as provide direct instruction to the child.
